I don't see why they would crack unless you brake going 120mph or take your car to the track. Stoptech makes pretty good rotors to.

I don't see why they would crack. The biggest reason rotors would crack is because a company took blanks and drilled them incorrectly, damaging the pillars inside, weakening the structural integrity of the rotor. Or they just drilled them incorrectly altogether. These are usually the cheap drilled rotors you find on ebay from a random brake shop that drilled the rotors themselves. "Drilled" rotors made properly are cast with the holes.

If you want to be safe, avoid drilled rotors. And if you're worried about StopTech's rep of having a few cracked rotors here and there, you have other reasonably priced options like Power Slot, Centric, Brembo, along with plenty more if you're willing to spend a good amount more.

I bought a set of slotted and cross drilled rotors, with Axxis pads, off ebay..can't remember the name..for $400....I have not had any problem and they have been driven hard....I've used them for at least 6 track days..no warping or cracks....Axxis pads are **** though..got rid of those right away
