Which would give you all those juicy extras the UpRev tune provides!

Let me know if you need help
So I have a 2003 (late model) manual sedan rwd. The outside part number for mine is
CX MEC31-960 C1 3116. I’m going to try and go to a junk yard and find an ecu from the same model, year, trans, etc. but I also believe this year g35 in a manual, is more hard to find. Is there other years that would be compatible? I’ve called many dealerships and been up there and none have helped at all. I’ve tried finding compatible part numbers and cannot find any. Would any one be able to help out with compatible part numbers.

I also believe I’m going to just get my keys reprogrammed at a dealership instead of getting uprev, due to not quite knowing what I want to do with building this car yet. And it being cheaper.

thank ya in advance!

You don't have to do the full tune if you're on a budget, we can get it flashed to bypass NATS and load a simple base tune to give it a some more ummmmph for as little as $350. And you don't have to tow the car to the dealer. You could use a 2004 ECU, also one from a coupe. The ECU doesn't care if you have 2 doors or 4

Alright how would I go upon that, how would ya flash my ecu? Im still learning these cars. Im going to try and find an ecu for a 2003-04 sedan manual and give some more thought on what I’m going to do. Just got the car and am trying to get plates for it and get rid of a check engine light the ecu is causing. Just learning to drift this thing and don’t know if I’d want to go with more power for this motor yet, or just fix this dang light.

Easiest and cheapest way is to just ship me the ECU (or if you're buying it online just have it shipped directly to me), we can connect directly to it and flash it just like it was installed in the car. Then ship it back to you ready to go. You just plug it back into the car and off you go.

If you're planning on drifting I would highly recommend at least a base tune to fix the factory throttle lag... it will run 10X better

Alright thank you for all the information and help I really do appreciate it! I’m going to try and find the same car at a junk yard and use that ecu. Is there a part number compatibility list that you or anyone knows of that I can go off of to confirm it would work correctly. I’ve read other places that some of them may plug in fine but not work for the car100%

Ive seen on another thread from 2014 that you said to someone with a 2004 coupe, “2003 models don’t have wideband support so they won’t work”. Is that the same scenario, the 2004 ones do have wide band so those ones won’t work? Im confused
I am heading to a junk yard to see see if an 03 coupe is manual hopefully. Since ya send it doesn’t care about doors. Have you seen someone get an ecu for a different amount of doors than their car had and it worked?

Actually you're right.. I forgot about the no wideband on the 03's. So you're looking for a 2003 coupe or late model 2003 sedan. If you find a sedan make sure the ecu looks like yours, the early 03 models have a grey box ecu that is not compatible
