That seems to be the opposite of what I have noticed... last year around here, '04s were $20 grand... now I can't sell mine for $14k...

you have a point. The economy collapse caused everything to go down in price for about 3 months but now the prices stabilized as people don't panic anymore.

I was looking at 05s coupes with about 30,000 miles which ran for 16grand
now half a year later I see the same coupes go for 18-20grand

my family bought an 03 pathfinder with 60,000 for 9grand during that time.

I just purchased my '05 Coupe 6MT for $15000 from a laid off worker. It has 70K on it and needs a full 60K service along with control arm bushings but I think I got a really good deal.

Best time to buy them is winter time, because many people can't drive them in the winter or choose not to (I live in So-cal, so looking for good deals on mine ) It's the opposite, prices have been dropping, since the recession and all.

Yeah I agree, people are in tough times and are still trying to profit off there sales. Its not going to happen like that right now, because somewhere else, someone will be willing to give you a deal because they need the money?

I dont know, people are brain dead!

I just bought a 2006 AT G35C with the premium package for $16.9k from a dealer. They took it in on trade for $16.5 and marketed it for $21k for three months. Further, I got a great deal on my trade (2001 Jeep Wrangler with 143,000 miles, needs new tires, and all rear windows were stolen - $4,000). In this economic environment, it is a great time to buy!
