G35 Cost to maintain?

Hey everyone,

I'm looking to purchase an american made sports car and the G35 caught my eye right away. But I'm not sure how much it costs to maintain this car, i.e. what type of gas (regular or premium), oil changes, tires, parts, etc. Can anyone give me some numbers that they have experienced?

Thanks

the G35 is not American made. Premium Gas is needed. Oil Changes frequently. Car likes to eat tires (also depends on your driving). And if anything breaks, like any modern car, the parts are expensive.

I've had my car since Feb 28 2009. So far I've needed, swaybar endlink, control arm, Steering rack, and three sets of tires.

Other than regular oil/filter changes (Mobil 1 at 7500 mi), Lots of tires (performance tires don't last very long, but they sure are fun!), and regular scheduled maintenance, It hasn't been a real expensive car. Don't get me wrong, I have spent a LOT of money on this car, but it's mostly mods. (Look at my Garage, sig is out of date, long story). The most expensive maintenance was the 30K and 60K regular stuff. I did keep the costs down by doing a lot of the fluid changes my self (advantage of an MT). I have spent the most on tires, four sets in five years. Only the Goodyear RS-A's lasted more than a year.

all cars are american....

its cheaper for factories to ship out the parts and have them put together here in the states.

honestly not sure if they all do that.

Seriously? I've had my Toyo Proxes since August 2008 and they have 80%+ tread remaining...and I drive fairly aggressively...Are you getting your tires at costco?

The only Infiniti that's made in the US is the QX45 and it has one of the worst satifaction ratings of ANY car or SUV.
