bmw m3 to g35

Well I currently own a 2003 m3 smg silver in color. Love the car but been wanting a g for a while, my friend told me about this site wanted to check it out but just wanted to ask if anyone has gone from a m3 to a g? or the other way around. My friends think I am crazy about even thinking about a g35 from my m3 but I love the look of the g35. I know the performance on my m3 is very nice to have. how does the g compare?

Well personally I would keep the M3. Thats what I plan to upgrade in the future. The transmission isn't as smooth as the bmw make.

Well depends on what you like. I got my G because I love the way it looks. Its a fun little car dont expect much power from it. If your getting bored of the M3 and want something new then go for it my friend.

If thats what you want, go for it! The G is a sexy looking car. Might want to turbo or supercharge it tho so you will have the speed your use too.

cool, thanks for the info! Yeah I think its more the look of the G that I like I guess! Really dont get on gas much! Just like a regular daily driver for me so the G not being as fast is ok. Hell I have a family maybe I should be looking at the four doors lol. Now its nice when some one pulls up on you and you car has some power to take them but I really dont do that much. Just like a kick *** looking ride which I think the m3 looks killer but the g is sexy!!

prices are not to bad either on the g35's I dont think. Hell my 2003 m3 has 62k and they go from 20g and up! I've seen a few 06 around 50k for 18,

Personally I don't care much about having a turbo charger. I don't usually go to track and I barely race, maybe sometimes when someone pulls up. So I would only put a turbo if you always take your car to the track.

not m3 to a G

I'd stick with the M3. You don't gain anything going to the same year G, and you lose performance. The build quality of M cars is top notch.

the G's are sexy but nothing compared to the quality, name, and speed of the M3

E46 M3 still one of the sexiest cars IMO, stick with the M3
Get a G as a daily if anything but not to replace the M3, you'll definitely regret it
