Question Questions about factory options

Tomorrow I am looking to buy my 1st car that costs more than $3,000. lol

Its a 2005 g35 coupe, blue/tan. Automatic. 38,000 miles. 2 pix attached.

When I go to price it on NADA.com it asks me about the following options:
  • Theft Recovery Sys, is this lo-jack?
  • Bose Premium Stereo, I know they all have Bose. What makes one Premium? and is it worth it?
  • Power Sunroof , What other kinds are there?
  • Sport Package , how do I tell if it has it?

Also,

1. Is there anything I need to lookout for on this car? i.e. common problems.
2. I live in Connecticut, what do you think a fair price is from an Infiniti Dealer?

Thank you everyone for your time! I cant wait to become an active member of this community and install some mods!

The power sunroof and bose system are included in the premium package (not every G35 comes with Bose). The sport package includes the 19" oem rays and a stiffer suspension. Since that car has the 19" rays, it is safe to assume that you would be getting the sport suspension package.

Thank you both for your information.

So far we are assuming it has:
Sports Package - due to the rims...
Premium Package - because of the Bose and Power sunroof?

Somewhere I still think i read a difference about the Bose and Bose Premium...

Theft Recovery Sys is still up in the air?

If any one else can help it would be greatly appreciated, as I am going to buy this car in the next few hours and I want to make sure I don't pay too much.

thank you!

I heard you can tell that it's got sport suspension by looking down on the suspension and if it's red then you got sport suspension. Also stock suspension is gonna feel smoother.

Also, if the car has orange stitching around the steering wheel and aluminum pedals, then it has the sport-suspension package.

First part is incorrect. It's all black regardless. Yes, base suspension is less rough. Base or sport suspension are both "stock". Stock is anything from the factory/port.

There is no Bose premium that I know of. It's just Bose or not. Bose only comes with the Premium Pkg. Non premium pkg cars do not have Bose audio. Combo of sunroof, Bose audio, and leather would confirm Premium Pkg.

No real way to tell from the outside whether is has theft recovery (LoJack) or not. That would defeat the purpose. Unless the dealer has a transponder, registration information, or some other information that it has one, then assume it doesn't.

Bingo. From the pictures, I would say 100% it has sport pkg. If there is no third brake light in the rear glass then it has factory Aero Pkg too. If it does, then it could be an aftermarket spoiler or dealer installed Aero Pkg.

Nice color btw. Also, where are the floor mats? They should be standard. Make sure the dealer includes them. There is a trunk mat too, but that's a dealer accessory. You can pretty much always get that thrown in if you ask.

If possible, look into getting an '06 and up. Starting in '06, they added the intelligent key, push start ignition, projectors, memory seats, etc. Just little features that set apart from the '02-05 models.

There is no push start ignition for the 06/07 coupes. It is a keyless igniton though. My keys never leave my pocket.
