GTR exhaust on G35 coupe?

Has anyone done this yet? Any issues? Just wondering what it would sound like too if there's a video out there before I do this.

I'm talking about the r35 stock exhaust btw...thanks

I don't see this being very practical. I am not saying it can't be done but to make it work it wouldn't be worth doing. The cost of doing so you would be better off just getting an exhaust made for your G.

The thread below has a modified GTR exhaust. You could ask him questions.

Well, that's why I'm asking to see if it's even practical. There's a local shop near my place with a couple of GTR exhausts sitting in the garage waiting to rust up. I figured if this can be done, I'll take one of the exhausts.

Dunno if that's the same one I'm looking at, cuz the one I'm looking at is a quad exhaust, and yes I know I will have to modify my rear lip to fit the quads in. Thanks for the video though.

from original post of video..

they took the GTR muffler system and welded the stock G tips to it via custom piping.

I own the car that is in the video. You can't run the quad exhaust because the GTR is wider and the pipes would stick out the sides. It would take a great deal of work to shorten the pipes because they expand from each side as one unit until the actual tips.
The good thing is that you don't have to run the resonator and it's 3" from the Y pipe back.
You will need some mandrel bent pipe for the mod and a good welder and imagination.

We are currently in the process of pricing this mod out, so stay tuned for more info.
