Anybody know where you can obtain a license plate insert for a 04 Coupe/Brilliant Silver?? I just bought my G 2 weeks ago and pleaded with the dealer not to install front tags, however VA laws unfortunately REQUIRE front tags to be displayed and I guess the dealer did not want to be held responsible. Anyways, I removed them as soon as I got home and now have a small rectangular hole where the insert once was. Any ideas?? I will take my chances without tags but want to fill the gap!! Help!!

 

Ask your dealer for the piece.
My dealer left it in the glove compartment (NJ also requires front plates), but it had a few scrapes on it. Even if the front plate is required by law, you "paid for" the little rectangular piece.

 

definitely, ask your dealer...some jacka$$ stole mine (PA, no front plate) and i went to a dealer in NJ and they had many laying around...got mine for free!

 

In addition, Strictly Z and Stillen both have adapters for a front plate. You can also make your own. Someone has on this site, I would do a search. Basically they got the thread size, bought the bolt and welded on a bracket. Much cheaper then the ones that are sold ($55 - $65). You can also make your own bracket that attaches below the bumper.
