Help me decide whether or not to paint my tails black

Yay or Nay

OB 04 Coupe

Grill is black
Rims are Black
Headlight back round is black
I have clear corners

I live in CA

Is this mod even worth the hassle I may get?

Painted Tails....?

Since you have everything else black on your OB coupe black tails seem like the natural mod to make. However, just like tint here in CA. you'll be walking a fine line every where you go. All it takes is one cop that hasn't met his quota and you'd be looking for another set of tails. Overlays would be safe but painting your tails would look the best....see I haven't helped at all.

The only way you should even be thinking about painting your tails is like this:

Otherwise, don't paint them at all.

Since you're in SD, hit up "caskyline" (he lives in LA, but it's worth the drive).

Calvin, can you please elaborate a bit (maybe through PM if need be)?

I googled and couldn't find anything; a forum search wasn't much more helpful.

I live in LA and have been looking for a good person to get blacked out tail lights.
