I got springs!!

Sorry, just pretty excitied... found out the g/f got me springs for a gift.

Bought me the tanabe Df210 springs http://www.tanabe-usa.com/df210.asp?id=1

Anyways, since it's being shipped... thinking about either installing these myself depending how hard it is. I know I might need to compress the springs and what not. Do I? Anyone have experience on doing such thing? Not a mechanic... although I was working alongside with one for 3 months. So I know my way around a car.

i installed my own springs, but at the time i was working at a shop where we had all the tools necessary including the spring compressor which you will need for the fronts. you might wanna look into a shop in your area, dont forget to get a camber kit unless you like wasting tires.

Yes it's true you can get a rental for free at autozone or kragen but you have to put in a deposit which you get back after giving them the compressor back.

Man, I received my stuff couple of months ago... but never had the time to install them. LOL ... I was planning to do them over the holidays. But never got around to do so. Since I got sick and all these other things came up... I'm going to try installing these soon. I have a friend willing to help and know how to install these things

Don't forget camber kits (rear and front), and shocks..

Do it all at once. It will save you some time and even $$$. Hit the alignment shop after if you do it yourself.

$60 alignment or $900+ for new tires. hmmm

+10000000 Make sure your TOE is within spec... toe being off eat up tires alot faster than camber... also makes them very noisy very quickkly.
