Re: Injen Rep- Address questions and concerns!
Where do I start? I just brought in one of my midpipes to get a replacement and tried to get some questions answered about really bogus design issues and got none of them answered. I have a feeling nobody over there knows what they are talking about. First, my resonator pipe completely snapped off at the endcap of the resonator right where the tight radius bend is. I can also see stress risers in every single bend on the resonators. Yet when I asked a couple of your R&D guys over there nobody could tell me why because you guys dont make the resonators. Just to let you know, that is way too tight of a bend for such thin walled piping. Another thing is that all of the fiberglass in both of my resonators COMPLETELY blew out after 2500 miles. When I asked the same guys about that, they said that they havent heard of anything like that happening to your exhausts. Funny cause I know 3 other people that it is happening to (fiberglass all over their rear bumper for 3k miles). You guys said it was maybe just a flawed pipe yet it happened to both of my resonators. After I got my replacement pipe, I cut open both resonators and repacked them with SS wool. So far I have no blow-off on my bumper. And as a side note, I saw the extremely large tube of compressed fiberglass in the new pipe and noticed only a few remnants of the biberglass in my old pipe. I suggest you guys search for another resonator to use on your exhausts, because the ones that are on there are very low quality and this is coming from a racecar engineer who has seen many many bad designs.

Re: Injen Rep- Address questions and concerns!
My exhaust blew fiberglass allover and still rattles occasionally on the crossmember. My intake has not given me any problems. What can be done about the exhaust?

Re: Injen Rep- Address questions and concerns!
I also have the same problem with the fiberglass issue. Started 4 months ago when my exhaust system was 2 months old. I talked to the VP of Injen Monday and he said he would contact me the first week of September for a replacement. Don't know what they are planning to replace and if the fiberglass problems will be fixed by then. Also, I don't know if they will pay for the replacement exhaust to be install at my muffler shop. I assume "not". Hopefully Injen will have fixed the design flaws of their SES 1992C.

Re: Injen Rep- Address questions and concerns!
Yeah maybe I should send injen a bill for the $80 worth of stainless steel wool. Or heres a better idea, how about you guys pack your resonators with SS wool to begin with and charge another $80 for the exhaust. Then maybe you would have a decent product.

Re: Injen Rep- Address questions and concerns!
I have no doubt that they will. I spoke with my contact there this morning about it and they will take care of it for you.
Just give them some time to get around to everyone individually and take care of the issues. And not all Injen G35 exhausts have this problem.
