Has anyone filled/bondo the towhook cover??

I'm getting my front bumper fixed tomorrow, it had a bunch of licence plate holes. I was wondering if anyone has filled the tow hook cover with fiberglass or bondo?? If so, pics please.

I don't recall seeing anyone fill in their towhook slot, especially with bondo not when the covers are available and already painted. Fill in the license plate holes and leave the towhook cover as Nissan intended....

Yes I moulded a peice of plastic in mine. But you can not do it with bondo or fiberglass. There not made for plastic at all. I like "Lord Fusor 114" for plastic work, or SEM has some great "proublem Plastic" that works well. Bondo and fiberglass do not flex well as does plastic so it will crack and brake.

Ok, well I dropped my car off today at the body shop. I have a small crack in my lip that they are going to fiberglass, and I was thinking about having them fill the towhook cover, but i'm undecided... hmm...

If you can't find the cover, fill it. Not like you will be the tow hook slot anyway.

everything
Bondo should not be used to fill holes! SEM, 3M, or Fusor make epoxies that bond to ABS and urethane. If you do use Bondo(I would suggest Rage Gold, Bondo brand = garbage) on a stock bumper, use it sparingly and only like 1/16" - 1/8" thick once sanded down smooth.
