Free service maintenance?

Do you mean warranty service?

Re: Free Service

Since there is no official free service authorized by Infiniti for simply buying the car, I assume you're talking about from other manufacturers?

W/ German cars (M-B, BMW, Audi) that come w/ free maintenance, you can go to any dealer (they're all reimbursed by their respective corporations).

If you got a free maintenance offer for your G35 when you bought it, then it's only w/ that dealer, since Infiniti corporate will not reimburse dealers for doing it.

Re: Free Service

If you're talking about items covered under warranty (cd player breaks, squeky axle, brakes on a non-brembo before 36k), then they can be done at any infiniti dealer.

Someone on another thread is getting a new motor and carmax is doing it and an infiniti tech has to go make sure that a new motor is actually warranted, so I'm sure you can have other warranty covered items done at another place and then be reimbursed for it. However, this seems like a huge pain and who knows if infiniti would agree everytime that they did the right thing, etc. and would be willing to cover it.

Re: Free Service

I bought my car and they gave me 2 years of free maintenance. Such as free oil changes, checking tire pressure, battery, etc...

Re: Free Service

Nate, read the thread you are referring to again. She took it to an Infiniti dealership. Infiniti(the corp) is sending out a tech to see if it a warranty issue and what needs to be repaired.

As far as free services outside the warranty that the dealership offer, these are up to the dealers themselves. If you have a maintenance contract of some sort thrne it will be up to the terms of that contract. The dealer I bought mine from gives free car washes for as long as I own my car. Too bad it's so far away from me. Especially considering they will wash the same car multiple times a week if so desired.
