At what speed does the 5th gear max out at? (6spd question)

doesn't really answer your question, but in 6th gear at 5500 rpm, you're at 140 mph

I had a good run the other day, and think I hit red line in 5th at around 120-125mph or so...

take your car up to 2166 rpm (or as close as possible) and multiply your speed x3. That should give you a reasonable estimate.

 

120-125mph sounds about right

2 G or NOT 2 G, there is no question!

i have the 6 speed and it max's out way past 125 in 5th gear. I think somewhere between 138-142mph would be more accurate. I have actually hit the rev limiter a few times in 5th gear because i was so focused on the road and am not use to having a 6th gear.

wait a min.. that doesnt sound right.. 5th @ 140ish? then whats 6th gear gonna put you at?

whats the governed speed on these cars? and whats the rev limiter set at..
