Angry *sigh* such a horrible day for me...hit and run FML

day starts off bad cause i wake up with like 6 spider bites around my body and my left hand got all swollen. Then I go out, come back to my car and i see a crack in front + scratch on my headlight. No notes whatsoever left. I just got my authentic kenstyle put on not too long ago too. worst part is, my deductible is 1000$ and the shop told me $500 for repair+repaint and now I gotta pay 500$ out of my pocket to fix my front FML

EDIT: Also, Ive been trying to figure out how the other person hit me and i still cant imagine how this happened.

do you guys think i should just pay the $500 for the fix or should i change my deductible to $250 and wait couple of months before filing a hit and run so that I dont make it suspicious

If you can live with the damage for a while I say go for it save yourself $250 but I say don't change the deductible back to $1000 or that will make it look really obvious and sorry to hear about your day keep positive you never know what could happen

I don't visit the 03 section much but the title caught my attention. Just remember it could have been worse -----------------> this happened to me yesterday https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-37-...it-my-car.html

and yeah it was "slightly" my fault but still just trying to make you feel better

well if you change you deductable to 250 then your premium will go up, and if you change it back to 1000 then your stuck with insurance fraud...

one way is to change your deductable to 250 then cancel your insurance, then get a new policy with another insurance company.

dont quote me.. still might be insurance fraud

If you file it with insurance than your car will have listed an accident. Therefore your resale value will be lower. If your planning you resale at the end...
