I only tinted the windows and put the clear corners on, and got a remote starter/alarm put in recently (Autopage C3RS730). Illinois just passed a bill allowing 50% tints on the front, so I'll be getting that done soon.

 

Aw lucky for you guys in Illinois. Any amount of tint on the front windows in CA = rape.

 

I gotta find out first if its in effect yet. It used to be only a $25 ticket, then they raised it to a ridiculous $250, then people started complaining that they need some amount of tint on the front to block sunlight, heat, etc...and they finally passed it.

 

I thought that law never passed? I remembered that the tint law was confusing and it was never passed. When did this take effect Night Ryda? Nice G btw! What part of Chicago you from?

 

Well I just checked it now, and for some reason I guess they're having another vote on it, the box where it says "placed on calendar amendatory veto" said "House passed" last week...**** these politicians.

Thats cool..you got a dope G as well. Has there been meets in Chicago before? Theres a lot of Chicago ppl here so it would be cool to have one.

BTW how much did you pay for your HID kit? I'm plannin on gettin it done.

 

Thanks. Yeah there's a lotta meets. There's different sites that have the events listed. You should also check ChicagoZ.com and JDMChicago.com. They usually hold up meets. All G35s have HIDs man. Since you have the older model, you use D2R bulbs. The 06-07 have newer style projectors (uses D2S bulbs). Upgrade to them! You'll like them a lot!
