alex-b: If it's only a software update it shouldn't take long. it's like any other iPhone app update.
Silencer-0: You are correct. That's why a 3GS might be a better option( almost 50% faster). But although it might take longer with iphone, it's nice not to have to carry the remote key around with you.
I think the real problem can come up if you are in an area that the iPhone does not have reception, like in a parking garage. It seems to me that you won't be able to even open the door! And with the crappy ATT coverage that really might represent a problem. Any thoughts?

Haha yeah, I'd definitely be worried about not having a signal. Or even worse, your iPhone battery dying lol. I don't have anything against this app, I think it's cool and I'd love to have it on my 3GS for kicks, but I can't justify the price tag on it.

^^^LMAO I was thinking the same right no. What happen if my battery dies but that shouldnt be a problem cuz I do this I wold most likely have a car charger so it never runs out. The only ting I would be worried is the coverage what happen if I have no signal!!

I have the 3gs right now and it be cool to not have to carry a bunch of crap in my pockets. keys phone wallet, then then a pager alarm. Plus it be sick to take a chick out look what I can do. OOOO YEAAA!! U LIKE THAT DONT U LOL
