8000+ miles and Its starting to break...

Started getting the window streaks, had the window start doing the "roll up then roll down then get stuck" thing, car is once again not starting when the clutch is pushed in (this was already alledgedly fixed once. Basically you turn the key and its totally dead). Oh yeah, and sometimes when I try to start it it wont actually turn over...just sits there with the engine going *rrrrrr....rrrr....rrr....rrrr* (is that the correct way to denote engine noise haha) and wont start up. This is a little disappointing and I hope its not the start of things to come....

People who have had these problems...when did they start occuring for you?

Don't scare me like that! That sounds like an Audi product not an Infiniti!!!!

well... I had the window tracks, drivers seat cushion, rear axels, 6MT trans, and clutch all replaced under warranty at 20K miles last month. All the [censored] hit the fan at once. Not my idea of a $34K car but didnt cost me a dime and all is good now. Just a hassle I didnt want to go thru.

What was the problem with your seat cushion? Was it the side bolster collapsing? They didn't just tell you it was wear n tear. Mine is pretty bad especially at 12K. I saw another one at the last meet with similiar mileage, bigger gyu driving, not one ripple!

Heres exactly what was wrong. The long plastic lip is sewn to the seat, then that attaches to the underside of the metal frame. Crappy design that came unclipped then unswen from the leather. This caused the cushion to sort of float over the frame. Pretty scary when taking off ramps!! Oh yeah, I'm only 170 lbs.

Drivers window motor broke on mine too at 9000 miles. Thye replaced it free of charge. WHen I called to inform them of this, the receptionist making the appointment for me asked about my brakes. I figured the brakes must be a problem otherwise she wouldnt have asked. Even though I did not have brake problesm, I lied and said my brakes were friggin horrible. They replaced front brakes free of charge also. They did give me a loaner while they worked on my G. I am satisfied. The service was decent.

Mine came broken from the dealership! It was grinding and I had it replaced. Infiniti dealerships are AWESOME!
