Spacer + Kenetix Plenum V+ Yes or No

Ok, received my plenum a week or so ago and went to install it today and found that my G already has an aluminum spacer in it. Question: would it be benificial to run the Kenetix plenum with the spacer or should I just install the planum and sell the spacer?

Thanks for your help...

Until someone conducts a dyno test with the re-desigend V+ vs the other spacers I don't understand why everyone bashed them. I just installed the V+ and have no issues with it and I can feel the car pull harder on the bottom.

I don't think you need both the spacer and the V+, that is too much air.

I have not heard of an alum spacer..who makes that? I would think heat soak would be an issue with that which is why the other manufactures used a non metal composite.

I know the stock upper plenum gets hot whereas the V+ stays cooler being composite plastic...not sure how much that plays into it. I know on FI cars heat/high IAT's rob power but not sure how much it affects NA cars.

It is a Z1 spacer.
