Once and for all. Which PIAA bulbs for Sidemarkers

I've heard the Xtreme Whites are good but then others say a different model is better. What is everyone using? Is there a general consensus on this? Also where is the cheapest place to get them online??

Thanks!

Re: Once and for all. Which PIAA bulbs for Sidemarkers

I bought the wedge type 194 bulb in the Super Plasma (PIAA# 19170) since they had the highest Kelvin Color Temp with 5000K, however they didn't match the HID's perfectly. I have left them in and ordered the Xtreme Whiltes (PIAA#19172 with a 4150K Color Temp) because that is what others mentioned looked like the HIDS's. I will install those in my Clearance Light strips this weekend and will let you know what I find out as far as matching the HID's.

I bought mine from CarDomain because they had the lowest price and took all credit cards. Here's the link....

I have tried at least 5 different bulbs in the clearance. IMHO the one that matches the HID the best is the PIAA Platinum (new series) bulbs. As you know, our HID turns on with a blue hue (around 4800k) and then warms up to its yellow/white color at around 4100k. The PIAA Platinum will match the warmed up color very well.

btw: I have a set of PIAA Extreme White, a set of PIAA Platinum, and a set of SuperBrightLED 4 LED wedge available for sale. They are only used at most 5 hours before I took them off. (Still got receipt for the Platinum that I just bought 3 days ago) Please PM me if you are interested. I went with the 6LED SuperBrightLED as I like alittle blue/violet light around the clearance on my blue coupe.

Memphis:
coincidence, coincidence. I just bought the same exact bulbs you mentioned from cardomain today and I also live in Memphis whereabouts (Cordova). However, they won't be here probably until next week. This is giving me the chills!!!!!

Don't get the chills Mamboking, you just felt a disturbance in the Force, and that is why you did the same thing.

I used to live in Cordova. Now I live in C-ville, however, I'm over in 'Dova all of the time.
