Different silvers?

I've always thought I was a DP, but now I've discovered Brilliant Silver, and Liquid Platinum?
I searched and there's no thread for Silver identification, so let's get this info here. How do I tell what silver I am?

DP = Desert Platinum.
DG is the dark silver.
But BS and DP are light silvers.

Turns out the LP thread is gone. But yea, how can I interpret the code in my door, to the terms used here?

DG = Diamond Graphite... if you dont know the difference and do not see them next to each other, its hard to see some of the sublte differences.

Open the hood and there will be a metal plate on the passenger side strut tower that says the color code ( at least my 03 has it ). Mine is Desert Platinum and the code is KX6.

Hahaha... same thing happened to me. I thought my car diamond graphite because I didn't recall seeing any G's darker than mine...till I saw a few that were and looked for my code and turned out I was DP.
