Honestly, I consider the G more of a Sporty Luxury car, not a sports car. The 350z on the other hand, manual only please.

before making blanket statements, its important to keep in mind that others may not share your opinion.

If you run the KBB estimates with the consideration that both cars are in excellent condition. They should give you the vet and 1,000 for your G35. Your G35 according to KBB private seller quotes is worth more than the vette.

If you are refering to me, I never made a blanket statement as I gave a personalized opinion specificially stating "I".

As for the Corvette though, I'd keep the G. I don't think that switching to the corvette would be a good idea since it is automatic and the mileage is quite high.

Lots of BSR issues with the Vette - tons of plastic squeaking makes it extremely irritable to be in. Power is great, but as Vette's are for those with mullets that love NASCAR.

My wife's friends husband owns an '05 and even though he's put an aftermarket exhaust/chip into it (400 + hp), it goes like stink but also drives like ****. I couldn't handle the cheap interior nor all of the squeaks. My 05 G with 20's drives like a Cadillac compared to his Vette.

I don't agree with that statement. A G35 Coupe is a 350Z with leather seats and +2 on the seat-count, 200 pounds heavier.... aside from that, they're the same except for some cosmetic differences(which don't contribute anything either direction in sports car classification).

That would be almost like saying a 300ZX is a sports car, but the 300ZX 2+2 is not because it has 2 more seats and weighs 250 pounds more than the regular 300Z.

The biggest difference IMO between a 350Z and a G35 Coupe is that you can get a 350Z a whole lot cheaper than a G35, so you get more people buying them for the sheer performance aspect for the money.

That's equivalent to claiming the life expectancy of a Sub-Saharan African rivals that of the Japanese.

OP - that exhaust is ugly as sin - and if you had taken that 'Vette as a straight up trade for your G, you'd regret it sooner or later... meanwhile the guy who you traded your G to would be laughing all the way to 150K+ miles
