Does anyone know the paint and the color code for the 18" rims.

Inifniti supposedly won't give out that info. For the sedan rims, duplicolor makes something close, for the 18's, I think I saw someone find a paint that matched (closely) ata hobby shop. If you have rash, supposedly no one can guarantee a perfect match. Wheels America in Farmingdale (fixrim.com) supposedly does great work. About 98 or 99% match. Let me know if you find something!

I know, that's the problem. No real match. I have the coup with the 18". My body shop, told me that they would have to paint all the rims to match.

 

We should hit up the place in Farmingdale for some sponsor stuff -We will all be visiting them!

What happened to your wheel? I need a couple of mine fixed, but I may just get them fixed and chromed. I heard great things about Wheels America in Farmingdale. I may try them b/c I don't wanna deal with shipping rims, etc!

Not a bad idea. Maybe I will start a new thread trying to round up peeps who need their rims fixed. Maybe they'll cut us a break!

I had Wheel America fixed my eclipse rims and had no problems. And then I bought Konig opal rims. After one year, I had the car inspected and the dealer put the car on the inspection dyno and F--k up my front rims. The dealer sent it to Wheel America and came back more damage and Wheel America wouldn't no stand behind it. Said it was a manufacture problem. B/S.
after B/S. Sold the car and bought the G35.
I had the G35 rims fixed, but it need painting and the body shop is going to paint all four of my rims. This way it matches. Ok, I know the ask question: How Much? Will I rent out a lot to this body shop and it's on the house.

 

I wonder if the wheel the dealer sent really went to Wheel America or if they just told ya that? Just guessing b/c if the first time you had them fix a rim you took there yourself and the rim was fine? Damn, if you have the chance, when you take it to the bodyshop, can you ask them where the closest place is to get wheels chromed? I think there is a good place in Tennessee, but maybe there is one closer (for shipping reasons). I know that type of plating is illegal in NY, Who knows!

Plating is not illegal in NY,I have a few clients that do commercial electroplating. Check out Hemmings motor news, there are local ads for companies that do it. My contact told me if they advetise in Hemmings they are trustworthy.

But do they do rims? I never heard of any places doing that type of plating in NY. I thought there were environmental issues. I'll have to check it out! Thanks!
