headlights
ok so this is i'm pretty sure a common problem that occurs but i can't find any other post that states it. my headlights are starting to get this film on the inside of the plastic cover, i'm pretty sure its out-gassing, but i just wanted to know if anyone has any idea on how to get rid of it or fix it without replacing the entire headlight.
You sure it's inside? If so, moisture is seeping in and unless you did some modifications to it, it's most likely on the outside. About 99.99% of all this haze is the outside. Search it and you'll find over a million threads on it. 3M has a headlight restoration kit which includes sanding disc, polishing pad and compound. Meguiar's PlastX is also another good rubbing compound. FYI...after each wash, I apply regular car wax to the lenses and buff it out.

Ok I got nothing.
I know the 03's had an issue with the plastic composition of the headlights but they fixed it for 04'.

My passenger side headlight is hazing pretty bad, and i've used plastx with success. However, just recently, moisture has been building up on the inside. I'm on the market for some 04 xenon headlights!
