Brembo pads
yeah i have x-drilled and slotted rotors. the hawk pads will make noise a good bit when you're doing slow braking like parking and such tho.....otherwise they are fine and work great. i wish they didnt dust as much tho....still considerably less than oem brembo pads.
Man, I only found one online store that has Project Mu's in stock. Parts I need are PBF260 and PBR206. Their prices are a bit high and not even free shipping. So $240+ for all four wheels. I can get Hawks for $180ish. I'm in no rush yet, so anyone know where I can get Projects for a reasonable price?
If you live in a cold(ish) climate, Hawks are not such a great choice. They resist fade fairly well, but they have poor cold bite and take an extra 1/2 second to warm up before they grab. I have never liked them all that much.
I still use the OEM Brembo pads - great bite and decent fade resistance for everyday driving (I've autocrossed on them too and they held up fine), though they do dust a lot. That's the price for good cold bite and short initial stops though.

I went with EBC Green Stuff and I have been pretty happy. They squealed during the breaking-in period, but now they are quiet. Expect a fair amount of brake dust, which is not always a bad thing.
when is brake dust good?
I completely agree. I usually go in there with a spray detailer and microfiber cloth to clean down the polished section of my Volks. They get much dirtier than the body within a day or two.
i had hawk hp+ they had great stopping power for track/autox but i would never recommend them for daily because of how much dust and noise they have. i switched to endless pads now. they have OEM amount of dust/noise but are compatiable to hp+ as far a stopping performance goes
