You insert the plastic sheet first in between the window and the door frame slide the plastic from the side forward to protect the paint now insert the wage to make a small opening in the window now insert the rod aiming at your lock where the door handle is in the inside your rod must be a bit harder than a cloth hanger so you can grab on the lock and pull it open I’m a AAA trained to unlock cars

 

I haven't tried this, so I don't know how feasible it is... but if you lift the front end with a jack, remove the engine undercover and climb under the car with a flashlight and look up, maybe there's enough room between the engine and radiator to reach up and clip some jumper cables onto your battery terminals, and give it enough juice from another car to unlock the doors. You might possibly be able to do this by hooking up the jumper cables directly to the alternator terminals too, but I'm not sure if something might get shorted out by doing this.

Another thing to consider.. are you sure it's actually your car battery that is dead, and not just the battery in your key fob? I'd recommend trying another key fob first if you have a spare. You might also be able to tell if the car battery is dead for sure by looking in the windows and seeing if that little red light on dashboard is flashing or not. It's supposed to flash every few seconds whenever the doors are all locked.

ive went through my window and sunroof with a clothes hanger before to unlock my doors...

its not that hard people.... damn

locksmith just got it opened in less than 30 seconds...wow! time for me to replace the drivers side lock. thanks for the help guys!

 

how much u pay for them to open it? I had same dilemma on my other car except I left the keys in the trunk and there is no way to open the trunk without the remote.

 

What car was this? I have not found a car yet that didn't have a trunk release somewhere in the car, but I know that doesn't mean they don't exist.

 

I had a 1986 bmw that didnt have a trunk release button inside! LOL

 

You can open the trunk without using the remote by using the little switch on the dashboard to the left of and below the steering wheel. It's right near the VDC Disable button. The switch pushes downward rather than in(towards the floor rather than towards the firewall). This will only work for opening the trunk if you don't have the Trunk-Release-Bypass switch disabled. The bypass switch is inside your glove box.

You could also pull down the back seats and reach into the trunk and pull the glow-in-the-dark emergency trunk release lever which is mounted to the underside of the trunk lid.

And if the trunk is closed, how do you put the backseat backrest down?
