car starts rough after not driving it for sometime?

Im wondering if this happens to you guys. Every time I go out of state for several days (at least 5 days), when I come back and start the car for the FIRST time, it always starts rough. It sounds weird for about 3 seconds after I start it. Is that normal? I don't remember that happening in my previous car.

Never had that problem. I live in school dorm, so I usually use my G two or three times a months. It starts just as normal as it supposes to! How is the weather over there, it might be a factor in your case I guess.

Can you describe in more detail what you mean when you say "it sounds weird for about 3 seconds"?

Ok. I turn the key to start the car. Once the engine turns over and the RPMs initially increase to 1.5-2k...durin that period it's as if the car is only runnin on 5 cyl. or something. the sound can be best rescribed as "rough"..kinda like old muscle cars start. As if its struggling to start a bit. Once that 1.5k is reached and the Revs drop down to normal idling level, everything is fine. It's a very short amount of time and it only happens when the car has not been driven for a while. I wish i could provide a vid, but that means ill have to leave the car in the garage for a while and its my DD.
