In Need Of Advice.

Alright here is my problem, i just bought a used 05 G35 6mt form my local Hundai dealer(i was driving buy and saw it on the lot), with 33,000 miles on it about a week and a half ago. they told me that the car had been checked out and everything was fine, I've wanted a g35 forever and the price was in my price range so i figured what the heck and i drove it off the lot.
I have been reading a lot about the 05 6mt's having oil problems so i went out and checked the oil this morning after i got to work (let the car sit for about 30min) and the oil was just Bearly on the dip stick so i called the infinity dealership to set up an oil change and oil consumption test. There is a sticker in the window for the next oil change to be done at 33,600 so the oil was changed not to long ago.
But I'm wondering if the car is still going to be covered under the powertrain warranty and if not and the motor is bad what options do i have? Thanks

Wait for the consumption test before you get worried.

If you bought it last week you could lemon law the car and return it to the dealer.

You could swap in a new engine.

I agree, the dip sticks in our car arent very reliable. The only real way to check if your loosing oil is to drain it and measure it afterwards. Wait for the results and then go from there.

It varies from state to state but I think it's like 21 days? Maybe google it and see about lemon laws in your area. You could also photo ministry on transportation, they would probably know.

I don't have issues reading my dipstick, it just takes two hands to find the hole. (and a flashlight)
Buying a car off a stealership lot you don't know if they changed your oil or not. Did you check the oil level when you brought your G home? I'd change the oil (synthetic) and filter and drive your car before I became concerned. You should still have the drivetrain warranty.
