Need Advice/Suggestions After Being Scammed By a Private Dealer =\
Hi my fellow g35drivers.com members. Back in August, I bought a 05 Coupe from a private dealer (V & B Autosales) in Riverside, CA. While buying the car he disclosed to me that his wife had scraped the car on the front right minorly on a fence. He said that was all that happened to the car in terms of an accident. So what happened was last week when I went to Tustin Infiniti to try to ask for a warranty on my left projector headlights that didnt turn on anymore after I washed my car, I found out my car had frame damage.
I was informed that they could not replace my headlight under warranty because it appeared that my car had been a huge accident and had major frame damage. At this point I was shocked and asked them to show me. I went to the maintenance area where my car was lifted and they showed me how the frame was severely damaged and in addition, it wasn't even repaired correctly. Tustin Infiniti told me to return the car back to the private dealer because he scammed me and how as a dealer he supposed to have reported frame damage and disclosed that to me. They told me that it was under the law to do so.
The contract said it was sold as is but is there anything I can do?
-I paid $14,900
-I paid the car in half cash and half check to avoid DMV taxes.
-I was stupid enough to not get a receipt for the cash transaction.
I contacted a lawyer and they said I couldn't do anything about this even if I tried to blackmail the dealer about his license being suspended for not reporting a car for frame damage before selling it to his customers because he can claim that he made a mistake of not reporting it and just get a warning. Is that true?
I really do not know what to do at this point and would like advice from those of you who know about law or can give me advice about this. Thank you for taking your time to read this.

hey buddy,
this calls for drastic measures - clint eastwood style - if ya know what i mean,
tell him he's criminal for what he did and he knows it - tell him you're a criminal too and wait what can happen to him if he don't rectify the situation real quick -
if ya know what i mean... hehehe

First of all I'd want to be sure what this dealership was telling you was fact, were you able to see extensive damage? Get your insurance and a lawyer involved only after you've taken the car back to the clown you bought it from and confronted him. Buying a car from these "corner car lots" isn't a great idea, even worse that buying junk on eBay....
