snow drivers

Hi all, I might be picking up an '04 coupe 6 speed so I thought id see how many of you drive your G through the winters. I just moved to pitt and I need something better then my 300zx.
Ive read that some people running certain blizzaks didnt do so well, while some really liked them. Same goes with the Dunlop m3's. So im just looking to see how well the G does in the snow, as well as what setups you guys run.

Any info helps.

Thanks!

PS. One of them has brembos, which I think made a difference in size for snow tires.

if you dont drive like a d-bag you would need snow tires. and better than your 300zx, i actually have had 2 of them, the G isnt all that much better unfortunately =/

I used to drive a 300ZX myself (Z32 NA) with snow tires and it was passable (but not great) in the light stuff and relatively flat roads (which you don't have in Pitt). The G is a bit better mainly due to traction control and VDC and perhaps slightly higher ground clearance, but you still need snow tires. I get around fine during the winter on Dunlop Winter Sport M3/3D tires on a set of aftermarket 17" AHA wheels, and the tires are decent dry handlers too for a snow tire. I work from home on the really heavy days (>4") until the streets have been plowed.

4x4 Toyota Tacoma for bad weather, and the entire winters worth of driving... FTW!
