I guess from the treads I'm reading, getting the car aligned will be a challenge. Not enough adjust-ability (even at factory specs) to keep inside tire wear from happening?

New G Part II

After getting my car aligned, it kind of drifts to the right. I took it right back (after driving on several different roads/speeds) and they said that the slight pull was a condition of caster (not the already neg camber already inherent in the car, or the toe, which was adjusted to spec) and could not be adjusted.

Does anyone else experience this condition? Are aftermarket camber kits the only solution for getting these cars adjusted right so they don't eat through tires every year?

P.S. Finally sold my SI, so the G is my daily driver now and I'm LOVING it

That doesn't sound right to me. Never had this happen on any of my cars after a properly performed alignment.

I believe the aftermarket kits are the only solution. Your wider tires up front might also slightly accentuate the problem of inner edge tire wear by a small margin. Fortunately, those Falkens should last a bit longer than your OEM tires. I have them on my car, and they're definitely a more durable tire, at the sacrifice of some stability and grip. My biggest complaint about them is that they are absolutely horrendous in cool weather.. not even cold.. just like 35 to 40 degrees out, and the tires spin pretty bad in any sort of attempt at even moderately aggressive acceleration.
