There has never been a single instance, or anything even remotely close to this in my 6 year and 39K miles of G35 Coupe 6MT ownership.

6MT all the way.

+1. clutches are annoying. automatics can be frustrating though. especially on the 03.

however, infiniti is well on its way to perfecting the automatic. I personally love the new 7 speed.

+1,000,000 on that.

OP, go test drive both, and see what you like the most.
Me, I can't even begin go imagine anything other than a 6 MT. But then again, that's me.

6mt. Autos are for mini vans and soccer moms.

I drive in OC traffic every day. No problem. It's actually better than an auto in traffic. My left legs never gets numb or tried as it did with an auto.

It's more fun to drive period. manumatic shifting isn't the same. Sorry.

People think it's hard or tiresome to drive a manual in traffic. To tell you the truth, I don't even think about shifting or balancing.. It's just natural after a while.

What's so hard about stepping on the gas and releasing the clutch?

Heck, when traffic is bad, you can shift to neutral and rest instead of holding onto the breaks like you would in an auto.

Wait, how did your left leg get "tired" from just sitting there relaxing? Not hating, but seriously, lol.

But I do suggest you drive both. I still love MT cars, but I now love triptronic as an alternative. I heard a guy call driving a G35 6MT similar to driving a dump truck, lol.

Are the 6MT in the 350 and G also the same?

It got numb from not moving for a long period of time. It fell asleep, no blood flow, etc etc.

I was on my way Morongo Casino and there was heavy stop and go, traffic. Took us about 3 or so hours to get there. We made several pits stops along the way.

My leg never fell asleep while driving a manual.

Well, I'd go see a doctor, or perhaps do some stretches to open up the blood vessels in your leg, because driving long distances in a MT or AT my leg never fell asleep.

Auto is for family cars and women.

No offense to Auto owners, but why get a SPORTS/ luxury when you can't even appreciate it for what it really is?

If you wanted a sports car, should have bought a Z.

You driven a Z?

The place you sit in the car (almost over the rear wheels), the wheelbase, the responsiveness and the overall feel of the car. It's a very different car and has a sports car feel, the G still feels like a heavy luxury car.

In a thread not to long ago I said something similar to this and someone said I was talking **** about the G. That's not the case, if I didn't love my G then I would sell it buy something else. So don't take my opinion the wrong way.
