You thought the clutch on a Pulsar was heavy? Hmm.. was it some heavy-duty aftermarket clutch?

Those things had pretty light clutches.

the 03-05 g35 mt is notorious for one of the harder mt cars to drive

now you heard both 5AT and 6MT owner's opinions. I am pretty sure you are as ambivalent as you were before you asked the question. So your homework is to find a nice person who will let you drive their G for a long enough time for you to appreciate it or hate it.

Sorry for dealer folks, but I usually go to the dealer and ask them if they mind if I take it out for a spin and also show it to my girlfriend who's waiting at the lexus or acura dealer and they let me take it by myself almost all the time... Of course, their cars are almost always overpriced, so I have to wave them my hands after the joy ride and say good bye

LOL! Like this thread!!!

"you're not a MAN unless it's a MT...grunt..grunt!" LOL!

You can still enjoy the driving experience with an AT.
After 30 years of various MT cars, I'm truly enjoying my AT G!

Also, I thought the oil consumption was limited to MT G's.
Also, issues with MT being weak compared to AT.

6MT all the way...

Driving is all about shifting and controlling the car for me.. Auto is boring for me unless you have a crazy fun car with lots of power and I will surely still enjoy the car, but it will be beating on it not driving it.

And I highly agree with SXSky that the G is knows to be one of the hardest 6MT to drive.. Clutch is heavy but notchy at time and hard to get the hang of it

I've had my G for a little over six months. I've only regretted having a 6 MT once when I was in stop and go traffic on a steep incline for 20 minutes when it was 90 degrees out. I thought the clutch was gonna explode and I was going to suffer serious bodily injury. The days where I hit my shifts perfectly and feel at one with the G far outweigh the days where I'm hungover, shifting like crap, and wish I could drive an AT for the day.
