oh well...nothing to worry about now....they dont even make them anymore...so only competitor really left is the 330Ci...but that isnt much of a match either...

 

Off the roll the Cls 6-speed and a G35 coupe 6-speed are dead even, in the 1/4 mile the G takes it.
I currently own both and tested this theory.

 

"On avg, their 1/4 mile times are only around 0.2 s slower than the G35c"

I'd like to know where you get this info from, i purposely check some acura forum and find someone owns a CL-S with many mods with a best run of 14.6sec in 1/4 mile (posted before). And from many sources says CL-S stock should be a 15s car in 1/4 mile. Stock G35CMT can easily achieve 14.4sec in 1/4 mile.

You know **** about CLS (CL Type S)
6MT add headers and CAI and they're running 14.0-14.1 assuming the drivers capability.

Since Acura no longer produce CLS chances are you wont find stock CLS on the street. And Street racing outcome can go either way due to a drivers error/temperature/tuning etc.

Don't underestimate them. Plus right now there are several 400whp CLS with low boost (for now) cruising CA but that is different animal.
