I want to cobb flash my ECU, i have a 2004 G35. Anyone in miami area willing to do it for me, I have some cash to throw. Im not willing to pay $650 for one time use.

 

I believe Cobb engineered in some anti-piracy stuff into their AccessPort so that it marries itself to your ECU so that you can't just buy one AccessPort and use it on like 10 different G35's. If you want to use it on a different car, you have to unmarry it from the original car(which restores the OEM tune to that car, thus freeing it up to be used on another car) and then you can use it to install a tune onto the next car.

What are your mods? It's more likely that this is of benefit to you if you have a car that's at least got intake and exhaust mods.

You might want to consider the UpRev Osiris Engine Management option. It's priced similarly to the Cobb AccessPort and most people seem to like it better.

I don't have either one.. I'm just passing on to you information I've read on various forums. My buddy also just ordered a Cobb AccessPort for his car, and is not too happy with their responsiveness on getting it to him.
