Replacement Tires

Looking to get some new tires before the snow comes. Currently I have 215-55-17 GoodYear RSAs (Stock) on my '04 sedan. The tire shop wants to sell me a set of Firestone Firehawk LH 235-50-17. He says it is the same diameter as the stock set. Anyone know if I will have any issues with the different tire size?

The new tire is going to give you a wider footprint with about the same sidewall profile. There could be a possibility of rubbing on the inside tire well or on the fender during suspension travel, but some one would have to verify whether this would happen on a sedan or not.
