GG35,

I'd recommend Proctology for you my friend... You could study and learn to remove your head from your @$$. And with any luck your parents would pay for it.

BURN! (in my best Kelso Casey voice)

Sorry GG35, I just had to. It's all good, right?

Re: Maturity in this forum.

when my parents were younger, they lived in war torn country and thankfully escaped as fast as they could. they came here to start a new life in this great country. when they decided to have kids, they wanted us to have the very best. my dad still tells me to this day even when im 18, that he wants me to have what he could never have. i mean, if you decide to have kids, you should be prepared to buy them anything they want as long as it is reasonable. kids are the future and they probably have a better chance in the world than the their parents.

the reason i think parents dont buy their kids things is not because they dont have the money or because they want them to work for it and learn the value of a dollar, it's because they are selfish and dont have commone sense.

if you're an adult and you decide to get married and have kids, you mustn't t be selfish. let me ask you this. if you and your child were being held hostage by some psycho and he said he was gonna kill one of you and only one. what would you say. take me or take my kid? of course my answer would be me.

say you tell your kids that you want them to learn about the value of money and you buy them an old pos car that barely runs and they spend a year or two just trying to fix it, you're probably wasting money in the long run. by doing that, your teaching them how to waste their money. spend a little more and get them something that will last.

Re: Maturity in this forum.

DeStreGa5's last post should have had the Subject Line that said...

"Deep thoughts, by Jack Handy"

and the post captioned "The world according to an 18 year old"...

Oh I think I better stop now before someone doesn't realize that I'm just joking around in a completely deteriorated thread...

Re: Maturity in this forum.

Well. I think in generally, HP do not matter to alot of ppl. I drive an 330(yes my parents got it for me), but I have never gotten into an accident so far. I am 20 yr old btw. Yes I got a few tix here and there driving 80km/hr only...

My freinds drive fast cars, but rarely do they race, but I mean m/b that does not apply to everyone. However, when our parents bought us our car, they must have thought over for a long time and feel we are responsible enough dont u agree? Sorry for th accidents btw, I agree wif ya...sometimes I do drive fast when in a bad mood once in a while, but I never drive fast when there are lots of cars around me. Fastest I drive around city is 80km/hr...and I've never go past 120km/hr on highways

Neff, I just think I had my first 'you're too young to understand' moment.

I think you have to look at every case individually, but I would argue that most parents don't give everything their kids want for a reason other than selfishness.

Re: Maturity in this forum.

Ah, I forgot one category to my statitical report:
Parents that don't buy nice cars to their kids because they're too selfish, and kids that drive cars with too many hp for their own sake, like pizza hut!!!! Yeaaaah baby!!!!
Now, have I neglected anyone from this thread? <img src=/w3timages/icons/smile.gif>
