Or visit your local dealership, they may have them available. They're so small you could get by with touch up paint since I don't believe they come already painted....

i would love to take mine off too but it'll give the popo's a chance to pull me over if they somehow "didn't see the license plate" on my dash. btw, how do u guys hold the license plate up in the dash?

yeah, i'm not crazy about the license plate on the dash either, but it would be nice to not have it on the front.

License plate placed on ur dash is like driving with a kitchen knife placed on ur dash, then getting rear ended and the knife flying right at ur neck or ur passenger's neck.

I've never had a front plate in the past 10 years. Never been pulled over for it, not even mentioned when pulled over for something else.

But I did get a ticket for it one time while pumping fuel and a cop saw me at a gas station.

My old mustang and my new g35 never have had front plates. I got pulled over for it once, $150 ticket after court costs. UNBELIEVABLE! I have still yet to put one on though... lol

ive had this happen on the rear plate, there is a nut on the back side. Its held from spinning in a plastic clip, but if it locks up/rusts then the plastic bends when you try to take it out and the nut just spins along with the screw. I had to use vice grips to smash the plastic and hold the nut still behind the plate while unscrewing. Might be a little different in the front, but sounds like the nut is spinning when it shouldnt be.
