How much for your G in SoCal? Anyone?

How much are you guys / girls paying for your G, out the door for 04's / 6MT / Leather, w/ or w/o Nav in SoCal (after CA sales tax / lic. / reg.)?

I'm seeing used '03's with 15,000 - 25,000 miles, roughly for $30,000 - $34,000. Is this reasonable, or can I get a new '04 for the same price?

I paid MSRP but got a "free" aero kit since I didnt want one, and that was the only car they could find that fitted closest to what I wanted.

But this was way back in January...probably cheaper now

I got $1300 off MSRP in SoCal. I hear tales of people getting $1500-2000 off. Probably not in California though. Riverside Infiniti would not even do $1000 off MSRP.

Just bought mine and got about $1500 off MSRP, called other dealers and most wouldn't touch the deal, and a couple would only match it. I also got free oil changes for life which in long run knocks a little more off the price of the car. I still haven't taken delivery since they are putting on a clear bra for me which they though in to the deal not realizing how expensive it actually was. They still are saying the B.S. that "It's a hot car and nobody is giving a deal on them" but I know Van Nuys has 50+ sitting in the lot and Thousand Oaks has 60+ sitting in the lot so if thats the case they are going to have to make room for the 05's pretty soon.

i have a ivory pearl/black interior/6mt/premium package/splash for 33,700 at inifiniti of mission viejo, ca
i also had a vpp# that i got from a friend to help...but they said they don't take it for the 6mt because they stopped making it for the rest of 2004. i called riverside because they said they took the vpp#...but the one they had was a base model with nothing and it was only 500 less than the one i got.

miller in van nuys has tons of them and is making deals, best deals on the red and white, great deals on the black and graphite though.

Re: How much for your G in SoCal? Anyone?

Hey people, thanks for the feedback. I really appreciate it.
It's unbelievable to believe that dealers are selling used 6MT 03's with 15,000 + miles, for practically the same price as brand new 6MT 04's.

I've been doing searches on AutoTrader, and other various online sites that offer new / used cars in my area. Do all of you just recommend that I go directly to the dealer lot to find my 'G', as opposed to 'building' my G online, and waiting for dealers to call me back with what I'm looking for?

Also, for those of you in SoCal, what dealer would you recommend, in terms of personal experience? Pricing, vehicle selection, customer service, that sort of thing.

Thanks again for all the feedback people. It's really helping me towards making the right decisions. I really dont' want to purchase a used 'G'.

I was able to get $1000 off MSRP for my 6mt prem, splash about a m onth ago. Looks like you could get alittle more off since its getting late in the year. Also, I would recommend Riverside Infiniti. The sales experience was fantastic and service is really good. They are always willing to work with you on everything. Good Luck!!

I paid 500 less sticker from Riverside about 3 1/2 months ago. The 6 mt's are tough to get anything off sticker. I know you can get at least 1k off all the AT's. Don't buy a used one, the KBB on this car is very good and you will benefit better from it buying new.

I'm in San Diego. I used Grubbs Infiniti from Texas and had it shipped. I got $3k off MSRP but had to pay shipping which was $700 so overall I saved $2.3k. Car came in PERFECT condition.

I would NOT recommend Riverside Infiniti. They would not take more than $500 off of MSRP for me. They may have great service and all, but I wouldn't try to buy a G35 coupe 6mt from them.

Re: How much for your G in SoCal? Anyone?

Sorry to hear they would not work with you. I came in with about 3-5 online quotes from other dealers and said if they could not at least match the lowest I was gone. So they matched the lowest, $1000 off MSRP. I also got 3.9% financing for 60 months, best I could find at any dealer. So, I guess doing my homeowrk paid off for me.

I would recommend you calling David Marsh in Infniti Van Nuys, although I didn't buy my car from him, I got a lot of frustration from buying where I did, he was straight, to the point with me, and showed me all the numbers up front. Just tell him you got $1300 off from Santa Monica, and he'll match it.
