Skyline emblem

Does anyone know if it's difficult to remove our infiniti logos and put skyline instead? Anyone done this?

Re: Skyline emblem

Not at all.
All you need is a heat gun/hair dryer and a dental floss.
Heat up the emblems for about 5 minutes and use the floss to "shave" it out working it back and forth behind the emblem until it'll fall off. Then use some water to remove any remaining glue.
As far as putting the new emblems: the 350GT goes on very easily since it comes with a bracket that you align against the edge of the trunk. The "Skyline" emblem is a bit more difficult as you need to measure and find the middle point of the trunk as well as making sure it's leveled.

Good luck.

Re: Skyline emblem

I might be hijacking this thread, sorry if I am. But I have a question about the Skyline Emblems. I've seen a good amount of pictures of G's with SKYLINE badges. But...they have all retained the infiniti logo above the SKYLINE letters. Shouldn't that be changed to a Nissan logo. Isn't it like saying that you have a Lexus Altezza or an Infiniti Skyline?

TIA

Re: Skyline emblem

ya...well i think it really depends if you want to totally copy the JDM style....i mean i think infiniti sign is pretty cool too =) on top of it, then you won't have to change the front logo as well...it would be a pain!

i wonder if i can find a skyline gt emblem somewhere....not the GT-R but just GT

You can get everything from this site.

front logo take's about 50sec. tops to change. I don't have the infiniti logo on the back, but I have the Nissan logo on the front grill. I like the look of it. Let us know what you end up doing.

See, the problem is that if you put the Nissan badge on the trunk, you need to put one on the front grill, change the steering wheel, change the seats (they have the Infiniti logo), change kick panels at the door sills to read Skyline and so forth... This might get really expensive as you can imagine. So I figured I'll just give the car a small touch of where is came from. - that's all
