Brake pads
Brake pads
So I need to change my front brake pads and I dropped by the dealership and they're asking 175$ for them. I almost flipped, had an Audi before and the pads were 70$.
So he continue to tell me that the pads are 100$ and the locks are 75$... WTH are those locks? I didn't quite understand him? He was saying Japanese cars have locks and they need to be replaced, I really had no clue what he was talking about.
Can anyone enlighten me on this?
BTW, 05 Coupe non-brembo.

I recently bought Hawk HPS pads F/R from a vendor here for under $100 shipped. However, there's really no need for the OP to get these pads and put them on a stock rotor.
Contact some of the vendors on here for a great deal on wither OEM pads or a set of quality ceramics like the Akebonos.
