Trade it for a 6mt. Or sell and then get a 6mt. I wouldn't waste any time or effort / money trying to swap it.

Should thought about more before you bought it.

Trade it in. The 6mt is the way to go. It would require too much work for a MT conversion.. Sell it i'd say.

I specifically went for the AT. After having a MT for almost every car I've owned, I no longer felt it really added to my driving experience, because really that's all it amounts to. With the triptronic you can shift when you want (and when "racing" it will shift when it needs to anyway). Guess that means I'm getting old, but during my strict criteria on what I wanted to get with the G35, I passed on all the MT I found. Well.. that and my commute used to be hellish and it was all freeway, bumper to bumper. That probably had something to do with me picking up the AT.

You are going to get a lot of opinions one way or the other. I, for one, love my AT. Wouldn't have a stick in this car. Been there done that.

Enjoy your car, you're stressing out about a small detail. If you really want MT sell your car and get a MT. Simple and easy solution to your issue. You can always ask the place you bought your car if they will take it back. The worst thing they can tell you is no.

buyers regret is the worst! especially if its something you have to deal with everyday (driving) and the fact that the G is such a sexy beast to drive.... if you're already not happy with your AT after just 2 weeks... go test drive a 6MT and then make a decision! GL!
