I can't roll up or roll down the windows by pressing and holding the lock or unlock button on my fob remote for my '06. Does anybody know why? How to do it?

I tried that and it doesn't work :/ Does this trick come standard for all coupes? Or do you need a special feature to perform it? I know they sell modules that you can install to do things similar to this. Thats what I'm thinking it is that allows you to do this.

My car/fob was very picky for this to work. I had to be within 25 feet or so and typically have to point the fob at the car. It also takes about 10-15 seconds before it starts to work. Try it again right next to your car and make sure you hold it down for quite a while. Often mine will start to work then stop without reason. It's a neat feature, but doesn't work the best.

Mine did the same thing so I put in new batteries. Even with new batteries I have to be within 20 feet from the car.

And this works for both the lock button to roll up and the unlock button to roll down?

You have to buy a module to have the windows go up with the lock button. Our cars only do the down part.

That I know of, there are modules that will...
Roll windows up with unlock
Tilt your side mirrors down when you reverse (so you can park without hitting rims)
Automatically click okay when you turn on your Navi, so you don't have to.

Don't know if this is in the video (blocked at work). I've noticed when you shut off the car the windows will roll up and sunroof will close without the car running or the key in the ignition until you open the door then they will stop.

Yeah that was in the video and I think its standard on most cars now... (not sure though). Another tip a select few may not know... if you unlock your doors but do not open the door within 30 seconds or so (not sure on the actual time) the doors wil relock themselves as a security measure.
