When do power steering fluid and brake fluid need to be changed?
I'm at 32k miles, the guy at Nissan said I need them changed, they look a little 'dark'.
Do they REALLY need to be changed yet? Thanks.

It's not so much the mileage as the age of the fluids.
Brake fluid especially takes on moisture (hygroscopic)
That can be very detrimental to the internal system components.
FWIW, If your 07 is still running the original fluids, I would change them.

Fluid Swap....=)
I had all my fluids flushed/removed at 25K miles due to age rather than mileage. At that point I added my polished power steering can and the Nismo polished differential cover/cooler, perfect timing....

If that's the case, does anyone know how much power steering and barke fluid our cars use. I just hit 30K and bought transmission as well as differential fluid for my car but have yet to have that done. Guess I can have it all done at the same time.
