Some of you guys act like it is normal for a 3.5 litter car to do 15mpg...its not....a 6.2 litter Corvette MPG is 16mpg. This is probably your first car if you think it is normal. One thing I agree, I should had researched more before I bought the car, that way I would know what I would get into, but, I only bought it for 9.5k, so I guess the difference will be paid in gas compared to if I had bought another car with that same power...well, what the heck!

You know what, I'm crazy about projects...since my G is just the way I wanted it and I'm not looking for any more mods other than rims and suspension, I will start a project to reach as much MPG as I can....I will post the results within a few months.

Only suspension mods so far. Nothing special except for keeping my car immaculately clean, keeping all fluids full, and tires inflated to proper PSI. RUnning full synthetic oil.

9.5 K for a G35 coupe?
you get what you pay for with used cars
in your case something is wrong with your car if you are getting 15mpg
Even if I tried my hardest I couldnt get 15mpg.
Worst iv ever done is 18

I bought it at an auction, dealers auction. Your 05 was runing for 13ks. The only reason I didn't buy a 05 was because I couldn't find it MT other than red. The car does not reflect the price, its in great shape. Its an 03, 85k miles...anyway, everyone else also have been saying that the car is a gas guzzler...so do be hating on my ride bro.

wow, i'm from Canada (Winnipeg) and premium gas is about 40 cents higher then regular. right now for premium gas i am paying about 4.05-4.10 a gallon in US dollars or about 4.20 Canadian. Its cause we tax our gasoline an insane amount, yet all of our roads are still some of the worst. Its stupid, i like Canada and all, but we have rediculous taxes.

The entire Infiniti line consists of extremely thirsty cars. Although Infiniti is a luxury brand, they are quite concious of the affect this has on sales. Lexus does not have these issues and averages in the 20+mpg range throughout their models. Using regular gas will definitely bring your MPG down an average of 2mpg over the required premium. Tire pressures will also have an affect. Bottom line is that our cars will get as low as 13-15mpg city, and 25-26 highway depending on driving style. Yes they do love to gulp gas.
