How to Lower Offenses?
how do you guys go about lowering offenses for speeding tickets? i was doing 75 in a 45 mph construction zone so they say. [i was out of the zone when the cop pulled me over]
so what do you guys do? how do you not get points? im in pa and i got the ticket in NJ. are insurance points and license points different??? thanks guys~

Simple. Get a lawyer. I know in this area there are a couple traffic only type lawyers that charge you a small fee (like $100) to help get you out of tickets.

in NJ, they double fine in both construction zones and "safe corridor" zones.
some states transfer only 1 point if out of state ticket.
often in NJ, if you go to court early, you meet with prosecutor who will reduce ticket if you plead guilty. 4 pts to 2, 2 to 1 or 0. hit or miss.
call PA dmv to find out about transferrability of points.

Its too late now but FYI whenever you get pulled over in a different state request for the cop that you are just visiting and you would rather go to court in your area(legally he must respect your request)hopefully you are far enough that he won't even show up in court or turn in the ticket....no cop in court as a witness no ticket
