some dealers added this to get you to buy another security system. A lot of Infiniti Dealers were getting wheels stolen off lots and preinstalled them here in SoCal

What flashing green light? Only thing that flashes on our cars is the red light on the dash. Might have something to do with an aftermarket alarm. Take your car to an Automotive radio/alarm shop and have them trace it down for ya, at least then you'll know for sure!

it's a tracer light signal most likely -
1 it is sometimes used by car enthusiasts such as 4DGS for fuel cuts and stunting
2 other times it is used by shady owners to trace their car so they can steal it back
3 & sometimes (this is the worst) unibomber or terrorists use these tracer beacons as a remote controlled detonator once the purchaser of the vehicle deemed a likely candidate for vehicular ownership in a predesigned mother of all plan scheme in which the vehicle is likely to approach within a certain distance of a certain object such as a building it will blow up...
so be careful

I have this light too and have been wondering what it it. It is a little green light on a little black box (about 1in wide x 2in long). There is a switch on the back of the box. If you flip the switch up, the green light blinks. If you flip the switch down, the light just remains on. I tried starting my car with both ways and it starts, so it is not a kill switch. The only thing attached to the black box is one chord that almost feels like a power cord.
The only thing I can think it might be is just a dummy alarm, so that it looks like another alarm system or something? That cord just hooks it up to power and thats it?
I'll try to remember to take a pic of it sometime.
