Took G in this morning for window fix...
Took my G in this morning for my brake sensor recall and also last week my driver's side window when I would close it, it would roll back down half way (I'm assuming the window sensor thinks there is something in the way of it closing, so it opens the window again). My service guy told me that Infiniti considers this an "adjustment" so it's not covered under warranty. This will cost me $50. WTF ?!?!?!?!?! I can't believe I bought a $40K car and the window sensor is not performing correctly and I have to pay for it...!!!!!!
I know people have taken their G in for this before...have you run across the same thing...???

Go to another dealer (and call Infiniti about the first dealer). Your car is under warranty - you should not be charged for any malfunction.
The window seems to be a common problem from what I have read on this forum. As a matter of fact, I just had it on my '03 coupe. The Dealer replaced the motor and regulator on my drivers side window - no questions asked..

I just had mine done this past weekend also. It began by rolling up, then down halfway. Then it finally just stopped working.
No charge to me and they had it done within an hour. They even offered a loaner for that hour. It's a common problem & the motor was also on national backorder at the time I reported the problem.

Ditto. Mine was doing the same thing (rolling down by itself after I rolled it up; sometimes not working at all!?)

Ask the moron to show you where the front bumper is. Then ask the moron to show you where the rear bumper is. Then have the moron show you where the window is. Then ask the moron to explain the "ZERO DEDUCTIBLE BUMPER TO BUMPER" warranty. What you descrived IS NOT maintainance, it's a warranty issue.
Geesh.
The above statements are only my take on the issue. If you disagree with anything I typed then you are 100% right!
