G stayed on even after i took out key...

I have an 04 G35 coupe and today after running some errands i get back home and i noticed that when i turned the car off, it was still running. i then proceeded to pressing the brake and it turned off. first time this has ever happened to me. tried turning it on and off again a few times and it didnt do it again. is this something i should be concerned with? possible causes? thx

Do you have an alarm with autostart?

I use to use my alarm as a bootleg turbo cooler. It lets your car idle for a few minutes before the cut shuts down to cool off the turbo.

But once you step on the brake, the car turns off.

Yeah, that's what I mean. turbo timer. haha.

It works though. I can program it to turn off the car after a few minutes.

The only problem is, you have to leave your car in neutral.

Leaving ur car in gear, and setting off the "auto-start" accidentally is dangerous.

You unlocked the hidden feature. Next time just press the hazard flasher button and the wings should deploy.
