Anyone find a cheap solution for harness end connectors? (Stolen Clear Corners)

Long story short some punks decided to rip my clear corners clear off (no pun intended).... end connectors and all. My local Infiniti is quoting me upwards of $1k unless they have one in the scrap heap. That's bull****. Saying that I would need a completely new harness / wiring all the way to the engine.

I found this 2 pin connector but it dates way back to the 240sx
B4342-79900

Any ideas? Anyone deal with a similar problem?

I know how you feel. Same SHlT Happened to me. (Two weeks after I bought my car).. Dealer also quoted me 1k+ to replace the FN harness. I got lucky though. The parts guy (not gonna say no names), ripped one out for me. And gave it to me for free. He called me after I drove home and said, "guess what, I found a harness for you". I drove and picked it up free of charge.

That's the only time I will say the dealership did something right.

And whats with these idiots ripping the FN socket out of our cars?

Thanks for your response. I had my OEM 18" rims taken and I didn't feel quite as hopeless as I do now with this connector. Unlike my wheels this isn't worth the insurance premiums and $500 deductible. And unlike my 18's this happened at home. Now that I know someone is watching my car I'm wary to put my Work T1S's back on in the spring. All of this over 2 freaking corner lights.

I saw your original post and I'm hoping I have similar luck but I'm not very confident.

My dealer told me they might be able to find something for me. 7 years ago when I first got my G and they were a small Infiniti dealer and everything was a little more personal I would have brought my car in right away and left it up to them to be honest.

But now I'm thinking they just want to get me in there and I will end up with the same end result. $1k bill. ...2 freaking small lights. Unreal.

I just ordered OEM amber knockoffs and I'm going to use just the lenses as a temporary solution. I've seen threads that they are taking those too...hence the reason I got knockoffs.

If anyone has a connector or knows where I can get one (besides someone elses G...I don't have the heart) email me at:

j @ a rbos.com (no spaces in the email obviously)

Try a junk yard. Yellowpages.com or something. Just call and ask.

Definitely do not rip one off another G driver. Not sure why they would do it to us.. Bunch of ricers.

Not exactly sure where the parts guy got it from. But it was brand new.

I say you go to a local auto store, and get the connector/bulb and wire it up to your harness.

So basically what sammy_G suggested should be the route I go after contacting some junk yards?

Thanks everyone for the replies. Makes things a little easier when I know there are people out there who have my back.

$40 clear corners....my mind is still trying to wrap itself around someone needing to steal a $40 item to the point where they will rip it right off.

Yeah dude, just remember. You don't need OEM harness or OEM light bulb.

Just buy cheap local auto parts store connector and bulb that will emit light that can be connected to your clear corners or held in.
